Today calls for a sweet and savoury delight. If you have a craving for both like I did today, you’d enjoy this simple shrimp medley i scrambled together. I enjoy cooking with shrimp because it is so easy to get creative with it, plus its easy and quick! Wishing you all a great week! 


1lb raw and peeled shrimp

¼ cup chopped red onions

1 medium ripe orange (squeezed)

1 chopped garlic clove

2 tbsp pure honey

2 tsp Cajun spice

¼ tsp sea salt

4 tbsp warm water

Sliced red and yellow mini bell peppers

2-3 chopped green onions (for garnish)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sesame seeds

1. First, prepare your Cajun-orange sauce. In a small bowl, add honey, orange juice, Cajun spice, sea salt and warm water and mix until you get a semi thick sauce. Set aside to use for your shrimp.

2. Place a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Add red onions and garlic and simmer for about 30 seconds, then add shrimp and sliced bell peppers and cook for about 1 minute. Finally, add Cajun orange sauce to the shrimp, then cover the skillet and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Turn of your stove and transfer your cooked shrimp into a serving bowl. Top with sesame seeds and green onions and serve when ready.

Happy Friday!☀️☀️ detox your body and get it ready for the long weekend with this yummy green smoothie. It is packed with vitamins, fibre and protein so it also works as a complete meal! Drink your greens🍃🍏This smoothie contains:

2 peeled oranges🍊🍊
2 cups organic strawberries🍓🍓
1 cup organic mint leaves🌿
2 cups organic spinach🍃
A handful of kale leaves🌿
1/4 cup organic hemp seeds
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
1 tbsp raw honey🍯
3 cups unsweetened almond milk🍼
Ice (optional)

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Serves 2.

Good morning guys! I say Thursdays call for yummy pancakes, so I totally had to make these bad girls. Do you know the best part about these pancakes? They are sugar free! Yup 😉 And the sourness of the cranberries do not compromise the sweetness, it actually compliments it! I promise 🙂


These were so yummy and fluffy, and definitely a great start to my busy morning. I also added a dash of nutmeg to give it a little holiday flavour and it worked amazingly well. If you’re a diabetic and you’re looking for a yummy and healthy pancake recipe with high protein, low carb, and no added sugars, then these pancakes are right up your alley! It gets its natural sweetness from banana and stevia, so you can definitely get your sugar high and still stay sober 🙂

Recipe: makes 4 mini pancakes

1/3 cup almond flour
1 tbsp coconut flour
Half a scoop vanilla Sun Warrior raw protein powder (or egg white protein powder)
1/2 tsp gluten/aluminum free baking powder
1/4 tsp organic sea salt
1 organic banana (mashed)
1/2 tsp organic baking stevia
1/2 tsp organic pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup raw frozen cranberries
2 tbsp orange juice (squeezed from orange)
1 tsp orange zest
A dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp organic unsweetened almond milk
Organic coconut oil (for frying)

Slice cranberries in half, as well as your orange and set aside.

Add remaining ingredients into a food processor and blend until a smooth batter forms, then add orange juice, zest, and cranberries to the batter and mix again.

Place skillet over medium heat with 1 tbsp of coconut oil (should be enough for all 4 pancakes), and pour palm size dollops into the pan.

Flip delicately when edges are brown, but be careful when flipping because these are fragile. They will break if you flip them too quickly. Repeat process for remaining pancakes.

When ready, top with toppings of choice and enjoy!
