Good morning guys! Breakfast OJ’s anyone? There’s no better way to start your morning than with a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice, or two lol. Oranges are loaded with vitamin C which is essential for strengthening your immune system to fight off the flu, which goes around quite rapidly at this time of the year (total victim right here). When I was growing up, my mother would always make my dad and I drink a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, and at the time I didn’t understand why, but now I do! So i’m sure she’ll be pleased to see my little twist on her OJ routine 😉 To make two glasses, you need 10 freshly squeezed organic oranges, 1/2 cup organic raspberries and blackberries, and ice, that’s it! But of course, feel free to add naughty juices if you want.

Looks gorgeous! A lot of quickly metabolised simple sugars in OJ but when it looks that good, how can you say no?!? 🙂

Have a look at some of my recipes if you fancy

Thanks hun!! However, naturally squeezed oranges have a low glycemic index from about 55-58, so it’s effect on your insulin is quite low! It would be more of a concern if you use store bought orange juice boxes, now those are the true killers 🙂
